When a network camera is reset to factory settings using the "INITIAL SET" button, does it retain the Registration Key?

No – however, in most current environments, a Registration Key is no longer required.

For current applications (latest versions):
A Registration Key is NOT required, even after initialization.
For discontinued or legacy applications:
The Registration Key will be deleted during initialization and must be re-entered.
